We stayed in the Downtown Greensboro Marriott for a business trip. The front entrance is confusing because it faces the parking garage. There is a parking fee of $11 per night and an internet fee- not included in the room rate. The lobby is plush and grand. The rooms are, updated, clean, with Bath and Body toiletries. The bathroom was... more

Initially, we shyed away from this location, opting for something closer to the airport, however, after opur stay, we will definitely be looking at the Marriot downtown Greensboro. The room was immaculate, the beds SO comfortable, and although the bathroom was a wee bit small, the amenities and linens more than made up for the lack of extra space. We... more

My daughter and I went to check out several of the colleges in Greensboro. Getting into the hotel was confusing because of road construction was blocking the entrance. We arrived right before midnight and got a room for $99. It was clean and the beds were very comfortable. We did not have to pay to park. I was happy that... more

When we first arrived at the hotel, I was shocked to find out that we had to pay to park. I have stayed in many nice hotels, but I've never been charged to park there. We stayed for one night and were charged $10. The hotel is beautiful on the inside and mostly clean. Receptionists were friendly and very helpful.... more

I always ask for a room away from the elevator to minimize hallway noise. At check-in this was no problem. Our room (7th floor) was recently renovated, very spacious with a very comfortable king bed. The location of the hotel is great, you can walk to Elm Street shopping and dining. So, here's the bad news. Apparently, there is NO... more

Hotel was just ok. No effort made to make it "nice". Staff were hospitable but no above and beyond by any means. Construction work somewhere started as early as 7am. Just your average older hotel. more

I would like to recommend this Marriott for groups based on our experience talking a soccer team of older teens and adults for a 5 day stay. We were waited, on with patience and a smile by the staff at the front desk, restaurant, and concierge lounge. They met all of our needs to our satisfaction and seemed to take... more
