My husband and I made an appointment for a couples massage at Grandover. They were able to accomadate us that very day at 8 pm. We were greeted by a friendly staff, and offered drinks and a light snack in the relaxation room while we waited for our appointment. Our massage therapists were wonderful. They were very attentive, and professional.... more

My wife is from the North Georgia area and I from Central Virginia, so we travel a lot along interstate 85. Along that route you will find the towering hotel that is Grandover Resort. We have always passed the property and wondered what it was all about. We stayed here recently for an event in High Point and while it... more

A person in our party had a cold shower first day and had to have the "hot" water turned "on" , we also had to search to find someone to help us with our luggage, and then had yet another cold shower Sunday a.m. before leaving and again had to have "hot" water turned "on". The actual rooms were nice... more

I was here for 2 nights in November for a conference, so I didn't have to pay my own way for this expensive resort. The room was very attractive, but my first impression of the room was poor, as when I walked in, the toilet appeared to have been used and not flushed. (This is why I carry antibacterial wipes... more

We four women wanted a close spa weekend getaway at a nice hotel, so we chose the Grandover. We checked in late Saturday afternoon for an even later spa treatment. Check in was a little slow, but only because the young lady on duty arranged at the last minute for our rooms to be across the hall from each other.... more

I stayed for one night while settling my son into college. Upon checking into the hotel I was a bit disappointed with the style....just not my preference. It is very heavy and dark. I was given a room on the 10th floor overlooking the front parking lot. I planned to spend some time at the pool because it was a... more

We were there on June 28th for one night. It is beyond me how this place gets 4 DIAMONDS from AAA ?? As a Diamond Hilton member and Million Miler I have to say this is no RESORT. Just because you have meeting rooms, golf and a spa does not mean your a resort. We checked in mid afternoon with... more

We stayed for several nights on our way to a wedding. Hotel is tastefully decorated although its a bit dated. The Hallways are very dark. A bit too pricey for the old decor. It does have a grand entrance and a wonderful spa. Everything was very clean and neat. more

Recently stayed at resort as a part of business meeting for 4 nights. Rooms very comfortable. Found water pressure and temp in shower to be variable. Fitness room had several treadmills, bikes, TVs, an old "universal" weight machine and some non-working hand held weights (the type you can configure for different weights). Could be improved. The conference rooms were very... more
