Beautiful gardens and pool area, lovely cottages. And yes, they do have smell because of the authentic construction material (straw and mud), part of the experience. What a disappointment - beautiful gardens/sparkling pool - but the rooms are terrible. The first thing you notice is the smell of damp, and the gloom. The floor is cement ( strewn with a few rat droppings one morning), the curtains are detaching from the rails, the towels are threadbare, the shower (and that of the Dutch couple next door)... more

we stayed 5 days at champey inn, the place is so nice, the bungalows are charming and the sea food is excellent. It's just facing the sea and It's a perfect place to discover the area : Rabitt island / bokor mountain / Kampot city ... MAnu from France more
