Having stayed in Eka Purnama's bungalows a few times previously, we decided to try the larger guest home and we weren't disappointed! It was wonderful and had everything we needed :) It was myself, my husband and our friend and had enough space for everyone. The bedroom is gorgeous with stunning views, the artwork and furnishings aesthetically pleasing, outdoor area... More

Simple, spacious and comfortable bungalows/bathroom with a good size porch overlooking a scenic bay for the budget minded traveller. Ilou and George are great hosts willing to help you with all of your needs(taxis, sites to see, snorkling equipment, etc). Make sure to ask Ilou to prepare one of her special Indonesian dishes, Don't forget to snorkle out to the... More

We recently stayed here for 2 nights. It was a shame we were in a bit of a rush because we could have stayed much longer. We loved it here, the locations is amazing. You have a stunning ocean & mountain view from all of the rooms, and the snorkeling which is right on your doorstep is some of the... More

We stayed here for 2 nights during a 3 week stay in Bali. The views are great, but our room was so-so. We did not have great weather while we were on the Amed Coast, so that probably affected our experience. It was very hot & humid. The mosquito net in our room was very thick. So we had to... More

The view from the bungalows is breathtaking, and Iluh and George are wonderful guests who will recommend the best places to visit around Amed. Iluh’s Balinese food is simply outstanding. The Japanese shipwreck is just in front of the hotel for excellent snorkeling. Don’t miss the moonrise over Gunung Rinjani and the sails of the fishermen when they come back... More

If you wanna go for a peacefull setting with stunning views, go for Eka Purnama. The cottages are basic but cousy - the familyhouse is a treat both as far as comfort and as conviencies is concerned. Hot water, aircondition and a vide variaty of dvd's - not that you need it as the setting is so beautiful, that it... More

We stayed here for a week. It was everything we wanted - to stay in a traditional hut by the water, walk to villages and fantastic local food! What made our stay particularly special was the care and attention given by our hosts and staff. Big hug and thank you especially to Iluh for her love, warmth, friendliness and care.

We spent 3 nights here after recommendation by a friend. It truly is a gem. The beautiful gardens and view offer a great setting to relax in. The rooms are simple and quiet. The food is amazing and affordable, while the different arak cocktails are the best I've had in Bali.

Awesome outlook over the Japanese wreck snorkelling site - really isn't in Amed tho', perhaps 25mins drive away. No need for aircon with the cottages perched up on the hill catching tradewinds. OK food, altho' a visit next-door is highly recommended. The long-term resident expats indicate the value of their rooms.
