I stayed 3 nights in a penthouse room which was a little small but it had a wonderful private balcony. I was taking a short break after concluding some business in Bali. I found the staff friendly and attentive and extremely honest in totting up the bill which included all manner of meals, drinks and laundry. Amed is a long... more

I have mixed feelings about our stay at Blue Moon Villas. We were in the very furthest villa from the reception area. The villas are situated overlooking the Bali Sea and have wonderful views but the one thing you are not told is that this villa is surrounded on two sides by an agricultural area which is occupied by quite... more

My wife and I had never been to Amed before and wanted to learn more about the area. We only had 2 nights staying at the Blue Moon Villa but thoroughly enjoyed our time there. From the time we were picked up from our hotel in Tuban until the time we were returned to our hotel in Legian we were... more

My friends and I stayed there for 3 nights (first time to Bali and Amed) after reading various reviews decided to book at Blue Moon Villas. We were well impressed on first sight - the accommodation was spot on and presentation of rooms was perfect. We had a 2 room penthouse villa with glorious views. Staff were friendly and courteous... more

We stayed at the Blue Moon villas with our two young children and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Amed is actually a number of little villages loosely connected along several kilometers of winding road along the hills and coastline. The topography contrasts greatly with the western side of the island and is very dry, rocky and hilly. It reminded us of... more

Love Amed and will stay there each time we visit Bali, however, will NOT stay with Blue Moon again!! Make sure you are aware of the location of your room when you book, there are new rooms and old rooms and the website is decieving; the room we booked looked fab on the site, although when we arrived it was... more

Blue Moon Villas, Ahmed, Bali.....What an amazing spot! The villas are so stylish, my Blue Heaven was ideal for one but plenty of room for 2 sharing. One of my favourite features was the most gorgeous stone work in the showers which dipics lots of natures wildlife - so pretty. This theme was repeated in the paths which took you... more

I stayed at Blue Moon as a single traveler with minimal knowledge of the area and left Blue Moon after 5 days of total relaxtion, friendly service, good food and most importantly a place I would feel comfortable staying at for the duration of any trip I make to Bali. The atmosphere of Amed is complemented perfectly with the existence... more

We stayed at Blue Moon and had the Blue Ocean villa. We really enjoyed it, starting with the welcome drinks (great Watermelon drink) and hospitality. We were prepared for the roosters, etc as we always pack some heavy duty earplugs. We were in Hong Kong and Sanur beforehand so this was the relaxation part of the trip. We just enjoyed... more

I don't like reading negative reviews (for some reason) and I sure don't like writing them, but I have to echo many of the comments you see from other reviewers. First the positives: the new Villas are beautiful with really nice views of the ocean, since they are high up on the cliff. The grounds are nice. The people seem... more
