Bali Coconut is a simple hotel in Bali that I have stayed at for many years. The main reason I stay there is because it is simple, cheap and well located. The staff there have not changed for a long time so I always receive a warm family type welcome on my return - a natural welcome rather than a "staged" smile found at big hotels.

The hotel is basic I guess with rooms featuring all the standard amenities of hot water, air con, complimentary breakfast, a daily linen change and free bottled water. There are 36 double and twin rooms over three buildings of two floors each. The upstairs rooms have balconies and the downstairs have a porch alongside the hotel's pathway. The buildings overlook a garden and there is a decent size swimming pool too.

There is a 24hr "Circle K" at the hotel door and about 5 or so decent cafes just outside or you will pass about 30 more if you care to take a 5 minute stroll. The beach is only a 3 minute walk down a... more
