I booked this hotel online, I had gotten the Alam room.... But the room was in a far quiet corner and on the first floor. it was also next to the construction site... My boyfriend and I stayed at Alam Kul Kul Resort for 7 nights in December 2007. The rooms were comfortable and clean and I believe they were rennovating all rooms at the time. Alama Kul Kul is a great alternative to the more industrial hotels going up in Kuta and Legian. It has old style Balinese charm and the staff is wonderful. It is situated far enough away from Kuta to be out of the chaos and close enough to walk there is that is what you want. The beach across the street... more
