I stayed here 1 night just to have some girl time . I could not believe in all years I've lived here that this hidden gem sat atop Ophelia's restaurant....it just added to the charm of downtown Independence. This is basically a restaurant that has some rooms available for rent upstairs. There is also a common area upstairs with a few chairs and a computer. The rooms were nicely decorated and very clean. Decor was more stylish than your typical hotel. I am not a big bed and breakfast person, in that I find it them often too... more
