Hotel is good. Rooms are warm, clean and decent sized. Couple of things I didn't like - In the room they first gave me, the geyser was leaking and water was falling right over the lamp. I asked them to fix, which they tried but couldn't do. Very reluctantly, they gave me another room. In that room, the bathroom door... more
Firstly, this was a 3 star property and not a minimum 4 star as we were promised. In reality, we don't believe it even deserved a 1 star. We were in a beautiful part of Sri Lanka with one of the worse locations of the hotel. There was nothing to do, with no activities. In addition, we had to pay... more
We stayed here for 2 nights and 3 days. Service was great & room was fantastic. Food was average. Not much to do as the place was far from the city or any point of interest. more

The food was good and the set menu was a welcome change from the... more

In Oct 2006 when I was staying at the Grand, I decided to see Galway in daylight! It looked like a hospital/ hostel from outside.... more
Hotel was of a good standard, a weird smell in the room though, staff were very friendly and the food was very good more
