When I called Michelle about staying in her place for 2 days she told me that she broke her finger and would not be able to cook breakfast for us. After talking to her a little I still decided to go there, and never regretted it. We stayed in a nice cottage with its own kitchen, where Michelle left us food for breakfast. The room was very comfortable, and had a door to the patio with a table.
We also enjoyed our conversations with Michelle about American Indian history, rituals, customs, interesting places around the area, or just talking about life. She is such an interesting person! I really miss her.
The house is very conveniently located, close to Mesa Verde and Ute tribal park.
If we ever come to Cortez, we will stay with Michelle again. more
