This is a modern Holiday Inn Express, very comfortable beds, clean, good bathrooms, great friendly service, a decent breakfast, all at a reasonable price. What else could one want? It's convenient for Mesa Verde National Park.

Stayed two nights 10th and 11th May and loved this place. It's quiet and calm but perfectly placed for visiting Mesa Verde National Park. Staff are helpful and polite, rooms are clean, modern and well equipped plus its a quiet hotel with very little road noise. Would certainly stay here again

The hotel is situated very nice, the front rooms have view at the mountains. Service at the check in very friendly. The rooms are clean and furnished in good style. This place has my vote as the place to stay in Cortez. Road noise was not a problem, and it looks like all the rooms face away from the highway. It's clean and modern inside - either newly constructed or extensively renovated. Staff were friendly and helpful. Climate control works well. Can't think of anything to complain about.

We didn't have a reservation and paid a lot for our room compared to the rest of our hotel costs on our trip. However, though the price was high ($134), our room was very nice. Holiday Inn Express doesn't pretend to be anything it's not and we love that. The rooms were a good size and the service was great. Very friendly staff. The only negative was on the first night, the pool was filthy. The receptionist immediately cleaned it out. The next day, the pool was clean and looked great again

So happy there are hotels that make rooms big enough for families with four children. This hotel's bigger rooms have two bunk beds, which even my teenagers loved. The bunk bed area also has a tv for the kids to watch. The main tv had a large screen. Breakfast was nice and had something for every member of my family.... More
