I thought this property was located close enough to the action but was not noisey during the late night hours. The pool area was small but nice and the rooms were nicely updated and well kept.

Just a block from Bourbon St so a great location if you want to be based in the Quarter. We made the mistake of choosing a balcony room overlooking the street - nice room, but noisy. So we asked to be moved and the girls on the desk were SO nice and helpful. We got a room overlooking the courtyard...

Pros:
-Perfect location - one block from Bourbon street in a safe area. You can't hear the noise on Bourbon street either, which is great. We walked everywhere in the two days we stayed and only took a cab one time.
-The price is awesome for the location. Other hotels in the same area were a lot more expensive
-Fantastic...

I really like this hotel. We were 2 adults, a teenager, and a 5 year old. Our room was in the back and it was perfectly quiet and clean. Not terribly large, but comfortable. The breakfast was nothing to write home about but we were satisfied. The location was good and close to everything we wanted to see and do....

I was part of a large group that stayed at the Dauphine Orleans over a long weekend in early February. The hotel is in a very nice location, within walking distance of restaurants like Acme Oyster House, Eat, Jagerhaus, Oceana Grill, Desire Oyster Bar, and Deanie's. One short block and you're on Bourbon (but you don't hear the noise) and...

I was just in New Orleans the last weekend of Jan 2012. I chose the Dauphine off of Trip Advisor and I wasn't dissappointed! The outside was charming in the typical French Quarter style. The Pool area was quite charming as well and was located in the interior courtyard with balconies looking down on the pool.
I stayed in the...

Spent a total of 13 nights at the Dauphine, pre and post cruise with NCL. Most staff were excellent, friendly, and willling to stop for a quick chat. Had some small issues with our room and both were attended to quickly. We spent our pre cruise nights in a balcony room over Dauphine Street...too noisy most nights for my liking...

This was our first trip to NO. Wanted to find a hotel close to Bourbon St. This was perfect! Pleasantly suprised by how big the room and bathroom were! The continental breakfast was one of the better ones we've had. The coffee was awesome too! Staff was very helpful as well! Can't wait to get back to NO and looking...

Staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms in the main hotel are of a typical modern standard. Good value with the included continental breakfast, and great location. You might want to beware of the rooms that face the brick wall of the alley; there will be some noise from garbage pickup early in the morning, though none from the street partiers....

My husband and I have stayed with the Dauphine Orleans three times and are immensely looking forward to our upcoming Valentines/Mardi Gras visit. We have yet to stay in the main hotel but have had two wonderful stays in the Hermann House and one in the beautiful Audubon Cottages.
The Dauphine is located a quick one block away from the...
