Given the Embassy Suites name, I was very surprised at this hotel. They are undergoing major renovations which will likely improve my biggest concern with the hotel so keep that in mind when booking or evaluating this hotel. This hotel is centrally located for all you need in New Orleans, it has a great "manager's happy hour" in the evening when drinks are free, the breakfast buffet is huge with omelettes made to order, the fitness centre has everything you need, the staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms are spacious.
