I had previously stayed here back in May for my daughter's Graduation. My first stay at Embassy Suites & I absolutely loved it. The room was clean and the staff was excellent. We visited again in October and enjoyed our stay once again. Breakfast is excellent and who can complain about Happy Hour that is free! The location is great... more

At $140 it was a bargain. Based on several TA reviews, I expected "the worst" for an Embassy Suites, but it all was good. My room was recently rennovated on a high floor and was clean, nicely finished, quiet and great AC. A small balcony gave me a terrific river view. Breakfast was as expected, and they worked hard to... more

Given the Embassy Suites name, I was very surprised at this hotel. They are undergoing major renovations which will likely improve my biggest concern with the hotel so keep that in mind when booking or evaluating this hotel. My biggest problem with the hotel is that the unrenovated rooms are visually unappealing with old styling and many moldy/damp smelling rooms.... more

When I first go there I was assigned a room that spelled like mold and mildew. I contacted the front desk and I was later given a better room but the Air condition was loud and never cooled the room. I really didn’t want to raise another issue. I just checked out the next morning. Thinking, this is the very... more

This hotel is centrally located for all you need in New Orleans, it has a great "manager's happy hour" in the evening when drinks are free, the breakfast buffet is huge with omelettes made to order, the fitness centre has everything you need, the staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms are spacious. New Orleans is a great place... more

We were initially concerned about finding a hotel that would accomidate our 7 month old, and our 4 years old. We were very please with the Embassy suites. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and explained all the features of the hotel. The suite was 2 rooms and a balcony, which we found great because we could put the... more

I agree the rooms are a little worn looking, but i think the service makes up for it. The front desk, concierge, dining, bar, and cleaning staff were great. They were helpful, friendly and just nice to be around. We were in room 913 and to be fair, my basis for comparison is the Embassy Suites in Huntsville which is... more
