Started my trip in the main hotel tower and my room was very satisfactory, was aged but was o.k. My boss who was in a different room was not happy with her room so she went and got us moved over to the lofts portion of the hotel for the remainder of our stay. I must say it was like... More

I live in Louisiana and have been to New Orleans a thousand times and what people need to realize is that hotels in quarter just get bought out year after year so unless they knock one down to the ground and rebuild it, it can only be so "new". We stay here based on room size since we're party of... More

We LOVED our stay at the Loft Towers at the Embassy Suites New Orleans. We were really happy with the loft towers and found them very quiet. As an artist, I found the unfinished former-Sugar refinery walls amazing...which truly added a unique charm to the large rooms. The breakfast in the lofts was very basic (do-your-own waffles, cereal, bagels, toast,... More

The loft towers are very old and not connected to the current hotel. Hair dryer broken in room. Some days room was cleaned with no towels left to restock. None of the vending machines on the floor worked or if they did only took your money. Complimentary breakfast was horrible. Slow restaurant service. Bad part of town. Paper thin walls... More

I recently had the opportunity to stay at this hotel on a girls weekend trip. The room was adequate but what really impressed me was the staff and the concierge that welcomed us. They catered to our every need and were right on the money about good places to eat.We also loved walking out onto the street and just picking... More

Stayed here for a conference at the end of January. Very good location for the conference. Also, pretty close to French Quarter. The hotel was nice. We had a two room suite. The living room had a rather uncomfortable pull-out sofa and the bedroom had a nice king bed. TVs in both room. The service at the hotel was very... More

Being on a business trip I asked for a quiet room. Beware - they said they would give me a room in "The Lofts" which were the most recently renovated rooms. This is actually a building next door and when I opened the curtains next morning there was a walling only a couple of feet away from the window. Maybe... More

My sister and I stayed two nights at The Embassy Suites - Convention Center in New Orleans. They had a very courteous and friendly staff. The hotel was alright. The food was good. Bisquits and gravy was amazing. Catfish dinner was excellent. The curtains had stains on them and was not hanging properly. The shower was never hot enough. The... More

My husband and I stayed 1 night in Jan 2012. We enjoyed our stay. The hotel does have a nice parking garage (some N.O. hotels do not have their own garages). The valets are extremely friendly! The hotel is located close to the Convention Center - outside and lobby area are very nice. We had an outside king suite room... More

I stayed in the Embassy Suites for six nights in November 2011. I did my homework ahead of time and asked for a suite in the 'overflow tower', the Lofts. My room was great, though a bit dark. The walk over to the main tower, through the parking garage, is a little unorthodox, but worth it for the great hosted... More
