Charming hotel with loads of character. These are the surroundings you want to be in when you visit the Big Easy! Great location and great staff. Had a refrigerator and microwave in the room for added convenience. Lovely courtyard and right on Bourbon Street. As long as they have availability, I will choose this hotel again! more

This room was far too tiny for two people; a friend and I stayed there for 5 days in March and found the kitchen and bathroom unbearably small and kept crashing into each other. Staying at the Bon Maison makes you feel like you're a local. Walking back from a local corner shop with your food which you can cook in your own room kitchen (a new friend once made me an excellent Gumbo), you look at the 'tourists' and feel somewhat sorry that - unlike you - they don't stay round the corner.... more

Outstanding! This is one of the missed gems in New Orleans. The owners live on site and do an exceptional job of taking care of their guests. I stay here everytime I am in N'Awlin's. It is impossible for me to speak more highly of this wonderful place. more

Location location and location make this a terrific bargain. The bon maison is located a block or two past hte noisy part of Bourbon street - steps away from all the action but still secluded enough for a good nights sleep (on the other hand do not expect to be able to look out of you window on the crowds.... more
