Had a great stay at Ursuline Guest House. Perfect location in the French Quarter. I highly recommend Wine & Cheese hour. Don't expect just wine and cheese for an hour, expect great conversations with other guests and wine and cheese being served for hours. The service was great.................................. The court yard and hot tub speak's for itself. Would recommend to... more

My experience at the Ursuline Guest House was one of the best travel experiences this world savvy traveler has had in quite sometime. True to their advertisement, my stay in the unique and original slave quarters of this historical inn, right in the heart of the French Quarter, was clean, well put together and full of character. Together with the... more

Businees had me traveling to New Orleans again. This time (my third time) I brought a friend and we stayed the weekend (during the first weekend of Mardi Gras). I wanted this trip to be "the real New Orleans" experience. In the past I have stayed at just another suburban Hampton Inn (they all look the same anywhere in the... more

My husband and I had were booked to stay 3 nights at the Ursuline Guest House and ended up leaving after one night! The room that we stayed in looked nothing like the picture on the internet and was completely filthy! We actually slept in our clothes on top of the bed! The bathroom was equally as dirty and the... more

I found it the management haphazard. The owner was out when I arrived and the front gate lock was sticking, so it took me ten minutes to get in. Then the person handling check-in was confused about how to use the credit card machine. My room was dirty, the bed was lumpy, and the whole place smelled odd. When I... more

New Orleans is steeped in history and this particular guest house is a perfect example of historical restoration with modern amenities! It's location is perfect, close to Bourbon Street, but far enough away to make it an oasis of quiet splendor. It is mere steps from the most popular attractions, and the serene courtyard boasts wine and cheese nightly! Our... more

I booked my room through bedandbreakfast.com. I arrived with my mom to check in (she was in town too, staying at a different hotel) and after we were alone in the room (my room was 10, but the key said 9? are all the keys the same?) my mom informed me she was not allowing me to stay there...I am... more

Well, the main thing that made our stay so nice was Bill, the owner. On their website, they advertised free wine and cheese in the evening. Normally, I would expect this amenity to just be sitting out in case we wanted some. But no, Bill was there both nights ready and willing to serve us the wine and cheese! When... more

The Ursuline Guest House was a great stay right off Bourbon. Our room was clean and the water and air conditioning worked great. Our room had cable TV but there are so many things to do within walking distance we really didn't have any time to watch it. Bill brings out the wine and cheese at 6 every night in... more

On a recent photo outing thru the upper Delta to the lower Delta, We ended up arriving in New Orleans a day early, our condo had guest in it until the next afternoon, we were still an hour and a half out of New Orleans, it was 8:30 pm on a Sunday night, and pouring down rain. The Ursuline Guest... more
