Like so many reviewers I was disappointed with the Doubletree New Orleans after a 3 day stay during a convention in February 2012. The rooms are decent but could use some updating, mostly in the bathroom. Service is not great except for the bellhops. However, the location is great especially if you want to use the trolley to go to more than just the French Quarter. It's also a lot quieter than most French Quarter hotels. More
