This is a perfect hotel. the location is steps from the boubon street activity, but it is still quiet. it is lovely with beautiful room views of a courtyard. there is simply no comparing the price (i booked through hotwire) with the quality. It far exceeded our expectations and they are doing upgrades to make it even better. I liked... more

Upon check in, we were upgraded to a suite without even asking for it. It had beautiful brick walls and the room was spotless. All the appliances in the bathroom worked and the water pressure was good. The staff was courteous and the conceirge was able to provide good advice regarding restuarants, activities, and nightlife. I mistakenly left a large... more

This hotel is in the perfect location, a block from Bourbon Street, close to Canal Street and the streetcar. It was very clean and quiet and the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. No complaints here! more

If you read Lee200909's review, I think this reviewer had the first room my husband and I were in. I also booked our room for three nights through a very well-known discount online website. The room is wheelchair accessible so the room and the bathroom were huge. I, too, wondered if I was given this room because of the amount... more

We checked in last night and already it is a disappointment. The location is great, and it has very nice pool area and lobby. Definitely exotic and New Orleans style. However, room needs updating. Our shower faucet is loose and coming off the wall, and thus, control between shower and tub doesn't work well. Sounds carry very well between the... more

Hotel lobby is great but like many hotels in New Orleans, rooms are small and the hotel is made up of two or three buildings connected together so halls change elevation, make odd turns and elevators are in strange places. Small lobby bar that had limited hours and tables in a hallway. Parking is valet only and $30 plus taxes. more

This hotel is just a step shy from the main road. It's tucked away but not exactly off a beaten path. It's still easy to get to where the noise and fun is. Upon arrival the we were assisted with our bags and checked in quickly. Rooms were clean and accommodations were made without giving us a hard time or... more

This use to be one of my favorites hotels in NO but when I went to bed, it was soaked with urine. I called the desk and the clerk told me he was unsure if I could get another room. So I showered and then went down to the front dest. He then decided to belittle me, quiz me and... more
