What an awesome hotel for New Orleans! The room was quite spacious and we had a shared balcony. It was so nice to walk to and from as the streets are short compared to New York City. You are steps away from Bourbon Street and Canal Street. At night, even though Bourbon street was like a block away, you could not hear the noise. That being said, you may still hear revelers on their way home so - you have been warned! The free coffee in the lobby was ok. i wish they had larger cups, fresh milk or cream and maybe some snacks. There are stores to get stuff on Canal but in the morning it would be nice to have a cookie or something.

Thank you for the great review on the Chateau LeMoyne! We are delighted that you were pleased with our location and your room accommodations. It is a great asset to be one block from Bourbon Street; yet, away from the noise where you can relax. We look forward to having you back should your travels bring you back to New Orleans. Best Regards, Debra Jones

Hotel's Favourite
Quiet hotel in an old renovated building. The hotel is not what I would label as a typical Holiday Inn, and in fact the Holiday Inn name is missing. The rooms are in a 5-storey building surrounding a courtyard with a swimming pool. The facility condition is a bit worn here and there though functional. Our air conditioning was built-in thus quiet (not in a window unit). The facility is very well located within the 6x6 block French Quarter, being a block from the noisy Bourbon Street though centrally located for walking all around Quarter to allow access to restaurants, sites and events within a 3 to 9 minutes walk. Suggest to not drive instead taxi or ride to the hotel. People here walk. All of the narrow one-way streets with vehicles obstructing makes it a hassle to drive, vehicle safety is not guaranteed and parking in and around the quarter is limited. If you must, there is a dedicated enclosed parking lot across the street though the daily rate is pricey. Lastly, my entry would not be complete without my mention of Eddie the concierge, whom is a wealth of local knowledge about the City, very helpful and very engaging. Stop by and have a chat with him and hear about the earlier days of New Orleans, or his exploits in San Francisco. He’s a treasure.

The staff was very friendly but the valet was awesome! Always friendly and helpful. The room was very spacious and loved the view from the balcony. The only thing on the down side is the bathroom is small and the vent didn't work but can overlook that with the great location! I am also sensitive to perfumes and they had a mister in the lobby that hurt my sinus.

Very nice hotel. Rooms were very comfortable and the staff was super nice and accommodating. The hotel is located very close to Bourbon St, so walking is easy, but it's far enough to not have constant noise. We opted for a street side balcony and were not disappointed. Even though the hotel was booked out while we were there, we had zero issues pulling up to the valet upon arrival and a very short wait to get our vehicle the days we needed it. I would def stay here again on future trips.

I knew service was going to be an issue when we arrived and no one helped with our bags. Sure enough, we stayed 5 days and our room was only cleaned once, and we had to request that at the front desk. The hotel itself is fine, but staff could be more helpful. The porcelain in our bathtub in room 324 was chipping away.

Thank you for taking the time to review the Chateau LeMoyne. We sincerely apologize for the inconveniences you encountered during your stay. The cleaning issue is not within our normal standards unless guests participate in the "greener clean" program. Perhaps your room was mistakenly included in the program for which we apologize. As for the tub, that has been reported to engineering for repair. We hope you do not let this deter you from staying with us in the future. We look forward to having you back so that we can show you our true southern hospitality. Best Regards, Debra Jones

This place was so filthy and ran down, it was very very disappointing for the price they charged. Our room was on the 4th floor close to the elevator, and the carpet running down the hallway was disgustingly filthy. Our bathtub had been PAINTED with white paint and would t hardly drain. The shower had to run for 10 minutes to get warm. The carpet in our room was super gross and dirty. The tv cabinet was coated in dust. The general room/bathroom was just dirty dirty dirty and tan down. We informed the front desk and they offered us another room that was basically the same. The up charge we paid for the balcony was also basically pointless, because the view was terrible. Will NOT EVER stay here again.

Hotel it self is nice, central location. Walking distance to everywhere in French Quarter. Hotel has a lovely cute pool to chill and have a refreshing swim. We checked in on late Thursday after 10h flight, and were greeted by polite staff. We were given room 303 that was a lovely suite with lounge and almost a separate bedroom, lovely decoration(and a very loud aircon!) Had a good night sleep and we ready to explore New Orleans. We then returned around 4pm to have a quick stop at the hotel to refresh, before moving to our next reservations. We then were not able to enter our room, our cards were not working. At the reception my husband was told we need to move room, and instead of he was rushed if we could just go and do this now. We did as requested and then I went to return to keys to our initial room and expressed my disappointment of the fact that this has now caused us to miss our reservations and caused general upset. I was then apologised and told we were upgraded for one night (not that anyone has ever told us this) and now we needed to go to the room that we had booked for. I explained I would have not wanted the 'upgrade' knowing I would need to move rooms following day. I then requested to talk to the manager. Receptionist dealing with me then called the manager and whilst chuckling told to the phone ' oh the customers from 303 are here'. Then I was told that manager will not be ablvailable today that someone might be able to discuss with me tomorrow. At this point I had already lost my interest as clearly our comfort and feelings were not on their interest. The standard room that we were given was also nice, and if given this originally we would have been lot happier with our stay at this establishment. We did not have a car but I saw valet parking was $49 per day. Some self park places near, but they always looked full.

For a 3 star hotel, the Holiday Inn Chateau Lemoyne- French Quarter far exceeds expectations. It’s hard to believe this hotel is only one block from Bourbon Street, as you don’t get any of the noise at all. The beds are a generous king size, the Concierge and Front Desk staff(as well as Bell staff) are wonderful and so willing to assist with any request. I would certainly stay here again and will definitely recommend to friends and family.

This hotel is a step away from all the entertainment. She is an extremely quaint hotel. I loved her lobby and the building is full of character. If you are looking for Luxury. Probably not the stay for you. But we came to get the feel of New Orleans and this hotel definitely did that. Our room was very comfortable and the front desk staff was amazing. Only complaint that I have would be the bell service. When we checked in. The bell man was hard to find and not very helpful and we ended up having to go around the block. In New Orleans on a saturday night. That can be difficult. I would recommend this hotel. Enjoy

My family and I stayed in 2 rooms of this hotel and we found the rooms to be clean the beds were clean the towels also clean. You might find a random bead or thing the cleaners may have missed but that’s to be expected in any hotel regardless of price. The bathrooms where clean the tubs just are chipped or might have a stain but that doesn’t mean it’s dirty. Things people may find negative I did see the bottom of the door in the bathroom is missing paint and it’s like lifted. It also has carpet the rooms are very dark. And they do not offer breakfast at all. Those things personally did not bother any of us because we are there to explore the city not stay in the room all day. We had a great stay for 3 nights and the staff where nice !
