Stayed here for 3 nights at the end of December (including New Year's Eve) as part of a pre-arranged tour. The hotel's located right on the edge of the French Quarter on North Rampart Street. There's parking right next to the hotel which looks pretty secure too. Check-in was pretty fast - we could only find one lift (elevator), there... More

I went to NOLA with a friend and we got a double beds room. I disagree with other comments : our room was very big !!! It is a bit noisy but if you want to be in town you will have noise anyway. Very good location : all the French Quarter can be done walking from the hotel. Very... More

We booked this hotel on Priceline for $81 a night (rack rate was $119 on weekdays and $159 on weekends) and we were delighted to find that it was a very comfortable, quiet, clean, and well-run establishment. The location is great: right on the border of the French Quarter across the street from Armstrong Park, so it is close to... More

My husband and I arrived in NOLA and took taxi to this hotel from the airport (flat rate $33 for two - better deal than taking airport shuttle!) and hotel was very easy to access. Check in was a breeze, the front desk offered a map to get us started in exploring. Hotel is close enough to action (about 5... More

We stayed at this hotel during the BCS National Championship, Jan 2012. Room rates skyrocketed due to demand and we paid way more than this hotel was worth. But, we knew that was probably going to be the case with any hotel in NOLA during such a busy weekend. We woke up to a dripping sound and thought it was... More

Hotel was in a great area but the staff were poor. We struggled through a heavy sprung door to the lobby with three cases as the staff watched on. They took several minutes to acknowledge us and then had difficulties checking us in as the guy couldn't use the computer (and, in his own words, he had been up till... More

It might be a little far from the major attractions, but if you stop by somewhere else on the way, you won't feel it's far at all. It is convenient to us. The park across the street is nice (Armstrong). There is also a conveniences store and a laundry place nearby. It's not far from Bourbon street, so it's easy... More

We stumbled upon this hotel when planning a stay in the French Quarter this past week. Located on the fringe on the Quarter on Rampart St. Very pleasant, helpful, friendly staff allowed a somewhat early check-in and assisted with parking which was at a premium. Rooms were clean and very decent albeit a wee bit small. Very nice courtyard surrounding... More

Stayed for a week for Jazz Fest. Room appeared to have been updated and clean. I do agree with others that room was on the small side but I think the size would be ok for a couple. Courtyard was nice but very few loungers so several times during our stay there was none available. I didnt mind the free... More

I have stayed at many Best Westerns but this one takes the cake, it completely embellished the French Quarter look and feel by its natural charm and courtyard. For an older building we were surprised at how modern the accommodations were. The rooms were beautifully decorated with New Orleans artwork, the bath was gussied up with marble, granite and a...
