We stayed at this place for about 8 days. We had a Sancerre Suite which had a good kitchen, bathrom and a bedroom with a really comfortable bed. The hosts (who live on the property) were very friendly, but still gave us lots of privacy. They also gave us nice cakes to start the day off on a good way!

The only thing that could be said against it is the location, which meant that we had to get taxis to most places, especially at night. The convention centre is too far too walk but you can walk down to the riverfront and catch a tram (takes about 20 minutes to walk)

Our safety concerns were probably heightened because we come from England and you read all these things in the papers and that maybe makes us more warey. I wouldn't want to upset the locals but the area around the hotel is mentioned in guide books as places to avoid.
