My wife and I stayed here at the end of our tour of the African American Heritage Trail after having read about it in the NYT travel section. The place did not disappoint. Located on St. Charles about a 25 walk from the French Quarter, this gorgeous B&B made for a great stay in New Orleans. The rooms are elegant... more

Four of us converged on New Orleans for the French Quarter Festival. We wanted to stay in the Garden District, so we'd be close to the Quarter and near Audubon Park, but not in the middle of all the hubbub. After a long day (and evening) of partying, we realized how much we were all looking forward to returning to... more

A group of girlfriends and I stayed at the lovely Hubbard Mansion (Carriage house) during the 4th of July weekend. If you looking for the quaintness and sophistication of New Orleans look no further. Located in the Garden District, the Mansion sits on St. Charles Ave. The streetcar is conveniently located right outside and runs frequently for $1.25 per person.... more

A friend and I stayed at the Hubbard Mansion in late May and were delighted by our room and the knowledgeable hosts. They provided tips on some hidden jewels in New Orleans that added to our wonderful experience. Another plus is its location on the street car line which was convenient to get both Uptown and to the French Quarter.... more

My husband and I stayed at the Hubbard Mansion for a 4-day weekend in New Orleans in early May. Although the rooms were very nicely decorated and clean, our overall experience was disappointing. The Mansion's floor plan is not set up to socialize with other guests (or even the owners). Aside from the fancy dining room table and a few... more

My husband and I stayed at three different places while honeymooning in New Orleans. And I have to say that this was the best place without a doubt. Everything was just perfect! The breakfast was delicious, the room (Dookie) was cute and comfortable, the clawfoot tub was sooo relaxing, everyone was so friendly and helpful, and it was in a... more

Top of the line in every way! All the rooms are gorgeous and have antique furniture, great beds, crisp linens, fresh flowers etc. Try to book the Henry II or Victoria rooms for more space, but every room is special. You will breakfast in style in a lovely dining room with great coffee, cereal and fruit, and a cooked specialty... more

This home is stunning, spotless, and perfectly located in the Garden District! Don & Rose are wonderful hosts. We were only there for one night, and not spending a bunch of money w/ them, but they treated us like we were family. Rose made wonderful breakfast and even shared recipes w/ my wife. She is the kind of person you... more

There are not many better ways of spending Christmas than enjoying the "tableau" that is New Orleans with the superb hospitality and warmth that Rose and Don Hubbard provide!! Don's stories and Rose's fussing over you and her homestyle breakfasts are wonderful. The accomodations were superb, exceeded only the good cheer that is the hallmark of the owners!! We are... more

My mother from St. Louis, my sister from Atlanta, and I stayed at the Hubbard Mansion for 4 nights and we just got home on Monday. The house and its antiques were lovely. The home is obviously well kept and very clean. Mrs. Hubbard served really nice breakfasts on the three mornings we chose to eat there. Mr. and Mrs.... more
