After booking this hotel at a discount website I became concerned reading others' reviews. We had an excellent stay though. We arrived at 6 pm on a Monday night for our 1-night stay. There was no wait in the lobby or at the 3 elevators and we never waited at any elevator during our short stay. We stayed on the... more

We decided to take a trip to New Orleans before the birth of our first child. The hotel was very nice and very clean. The location is 2 blocks from Bourbon Street and right on the line for the streetcars. Our room was small, but really nice. Marble bathroom and shower, comfortable bed, and nice views of downtown. There is... more

My husband and I decided to take a trip to New Orleans to unwind. Our experience started with the front desk clerk, Calvin. We arrived early and he checked and moved us to a room which was immediately available. We didn't lose a moment of our time there starting to sightsee. In all our dealings with him, he was polite,... more

This hotel was the nicer of the two Holiday Inn family hotels that I've stayed at in New Orleans. I have stayed previously at the French Quarter Chateau LeMoyne which is operated by Holiday Inn. That hotel is located closer to the French Quarter Bourbon street action, but this Holiday Inn Express is a far nicer hotel in my opinion.... more

Thank you for taking the time to write a reveiw of your recent stay! The feedback is most helpful! I am dleighted to hear that you enjoyed your overall stay. Please let me know what your previous room number was, so that I can have maintenance check the AC. WE do have energy efficient thermostats, but that should not prevent...

I stayed here once in January and once in February. On the first stay, I got a tiny room with no desk and could hear my neighbors getting frisky at 2 AM. Internet signal was not good. I noticed the hotel manager monitors the site, so I e-mailed her and, sure enough, on my next stay I had a spacious... more

We came for the 2009 Jazz Festival. We choose this hotel based on its location, price, and convenience to Bourbon Street and the French Qtr. We read all the reviews beforehand and decided to take a chance. This turned out to be the right decision! First, the doormen were some of the friendlist we have ever had the pleasure of... more

There were several problems with this hotel however on a good note, Derek the head Bellman was amazing! He was always there, always with a great attitude. He made recommendations, assisted with local travel arrangements and always welcomed us back. He was absolutely the best thing about that hotel. My main complaint however is that fact that the fire alarm... more

Was a little unsure about this hotel after staying in HIEs in the UK, but simply cannot fault the location or the service. 10 mins after we checked in, the front desk called to check everything was ok. Dereck the Bell Captain was exemplary, always recognising and greeting us. Nothing was too much trouble. Once we had no hand towels,... more

We stayed here free with Priority Club points. We had a nice large room on the top floor, seemd recently renovated. Bathroom was small, but ok. Wireless internet worked fine. Location was fine, just a block from Canal, so only a few minutes walk to Bourbon Street. However if I was paying for a hotel I would stay inside th... more
