There is no middle ground at this strange property. The rooms and public areas are beautifully appointed. The staff is super-friendly and very capable. BUT, there is not a general restaurant, coffee shop, not even a Starbucks in this place. There is no gift shop, not even a newsstand here. No pool, no health club, you get the idea. more

As casinos go this one is pretty good. It's a weird feeling though to be outside in vibrant New Orleans where everyone is walking around to all of a sudden go inside Harrah's and everyone is sitting down at the slots.
