Our Staff from David's gallery in Gulf Shores took a trip to New Orleans for Halloween. We found that the French Quarter Suites to be the best value around! Located at the edge of the French Quarter, the French Quarter Suites Hotel is perfect for traveling with a pet. Dusty was welcome and enjoyed watching people from her vantage point on the balcony! The suite was roomy and comfortable. Everything was there! Not that you will spend much time there with the French Quarter beckoning! more

I have to say from the gated entrance, to the wonderful staff I would challenge anyone to find a better deal but I have looked and it does not exist. I want to point out that if you like the normal cookie cutter perfect hotels that this hotel probably isnt for you. I liked that there were two pools. (Try finding a hotel in the FQ with a pool!!!) I saw a review that described this place as "quaint." That's a perfect word for it. The room was spacious, it reminded me of a small apartment. It did smell a bit funny. This is the WORST hotel I have ever stayed at in my life. There was absolutely nothing good about it. We were with a large group. We stayed in the Annex portion of the hotel and felt like we were staying in an old French Quarter house.
