John and Gil always provide us with a great experience. Marigny Manor House is a great home base and the host's knowledge of New Orleans really helps out of towners get a local's view of the city. Food. Music. History. What N'awlins is all about. more

I had a wonderful stay with you. I loved my 4-poster bed (which was sumptuously comfortable), my tastefully-appointed room, and the lush tropical garden my balcony overlooked. Also, I found the location in the Marigny perfect--close to the bars and shops of Frenchmen Street and a short walk to the French Quarter. I felt as if I were living in... more

Boy, how do we sum up our stay at Marigny Manor House in just one sentence? The house is more beautiful than any photo can display and John and Gil are fantastic hosts. The breakfasts were awesome! Just as enjoyable were the daily conversations. We anticipate returning to New Orleans as our week there was just not enough to take... more

Our innkeepers treated us like family and made us feel wonderful. We had a room that opened up to a beautiful courtyard. We had to walk a few blocks to get to the French Quarter, but it helped us burn off calories from the wonderful food we ate all week! If I had to give them a rating it would... more

We had the pleasure of staying at the Marigny Manor House with a group of friends for Mardi Gras. John and Gill were amazing, gracious hosts and we quickly felt like old friends. The house is a one-of-a-kind, old world beauty. I don't think I could have dreamed a better stay and can't wait to return! more

We stayed with John and Gil for 5 days while visiting New Orleans and it was the best possible experience. The hospitality was fantastic and the Inn was charming. We will stay here everytime we go back. more

For those who are looking to experience the "real" New Orleans away from the commercialized Quarter, I would give the highest recommendation to this B&B located in a residential neighborhood directly east of the Quarter. If you want to stay in the neighborhood, the Marigny has numerous restaurants and more quality music clubs along Frenchmen Street than found in any... more

My Dad and I stayed here for 3 Nights and the owners were just soo much help. Everything we needed we could just ask them for it, no problem. The location is just perfect, first night we got there it was about 11pm and we went down the street to a 24 New Orleans Cafe that the owners recomended which... more

We had a "girlfriends getaway" in June and had a wonderful time staying at the Marigny Manor House. We stayed in the courtyard room and the balcony room, which were connected by a stairway. The rooms were perfect for us and provided our own living area for those late-night gab sessions. The courtyard was beautiful at night with little white... more

John and Gil exemplified southern hospitality on our stay at the Marigny Manor House during our trip to New Orleans. The B&B is close enough for easy access to the French Quarter though not so close as to be kept awake at nights from its noise. It is close to the jazz clubs on Frenchman and has many restaurants and... more
