This hotel was an excellent choice. The hotel is right across the street from the convention center so would be perfect if you needed to go to the convention center. But we went for leisure and we still had a great time. I would not recommend to those that are physically disabled or to people that may not want to... more

Great Hotel with nice ammenities. The staff was very helpful & curtious. Meeting room was nice. I've stayed closer to the action, but prefer the walk to get away when you want peace & quiet. I do agree though the parking fee is terrible, at 28.00/day I paid 100.00 for 3 days with tax, plus tips for valet. I could've... more

The Marriott, as always was a superb hotel. The standard of fittings and beds/bedding were of the high standard you expect from Marriott, and the location just a few blocks from the French Quarter is really good. The Riverside Walk shopping centre is virtually opposite and good for food and shopping. The staff are all very helpful. One poor thing... more

I stayed at this hotel because it was close to an event i was going to. It was on the weekend, so the hotel was very quite. My room was upgraded without request, and i was given a couple bottles of water. The hotel was new and clean. Bed and linens were great. I would recommend this hotel highly. more

I stayed at this hotel with two friends earlier this month. We were greeted promptly by Amanda and she was very friendly. We enjoyed the concierge lounge especially our time with Rhoda. She was so friendly and helpful in planning our site seeing. The hotel is a few blocks from Julia and St. Charles where you can catch the streetcar... more

I stayed here for a weekend for an Army National Guard Yellow Ribbon Conference. Everything was perfect. From the meeting rooms, to the food, to the staff and the amenities. I couldn't have asked for a better hotel. The staff was super friendly and our room was immaculate. more

I stayed here b/c it was across the street from convention center, otherwise I would've chosen a place closer to french quarter. Staff was friendly and very helpful. My bathroom toilet and sink were broken, they could not fix it properly so they upgraded me to a suite, which I thought was very nice. The pool is VERY small but... more

Rhoda, the Concierge, really made the trip enjoyable. She was knowledgeable about local restaurants, activities, and attractions. Rhoda was very friendly and approachable, a real people person-she ensured that my colleagues and I got reservations at the best restaurants and attractions. I would recommend visiting the Concierge desk and asking for Rhoda if you visit this hotel. She will take... more

Pretty, clean hotel with helpful staff. Convenient to Riverfront streetcar, which takes you to the french quarter, etc. Not a bad walk from the St. Charles line, either. more

Very beautiful - like a NYC boutique hotel. The beds were extremely comfortable and we all had a great sleep! The Bath & Body Works products were terrific - so you don't need to bring shampoo, conditioner, body wash or hand lotion. Our room was clean and chicly decorated. The staff was friendly and very accomodating. Kantrelle - our valet... more
