The good - great location and free parking across the street. Courteous staff. The bad - lame 'continental breakfast' of doughnuts and coffee The ugly - the drunks who yelled and fought out by the pool. This little hotel is a bargain. The small inner courtyard has a pool and seating - nice until the after-midnight revelers come in. It... more

My title says it all. There is absolutely nothing good to say about this hotel. The rooms are dirty, small and smell bad. The management is completely unprofessional and unkind. There are children running up and down the halls from 7 AM onwards, and it is impossible to sleep given the noise. The hotel is in the back part of... more

We originally planned on staying at a B&B, however the rates here were very good. We had a pretty small room but it had doors that opened onto one of the courtyards, and two nice pools. Very good location and decent accomodations at a very good price. As long as you're not looking for 4 or 5 star hotel quality... more

The Hotel St. Pierre is located a convenient 2 blocks from Bourbon Street, but that is where the positives or this hotel end. This place is a D-U-M-P! We stayed in a "suite" across the street for the duration of our stay. There was absolutely nothing "suite" about our room. The beds look like they were from WWII era and... more

A discounted rate is really the only reason to stay here. Yes, the building is charming and historic with all that entails: interestingly spaced rooms, exposed brick and the warping which should be expected in historic architecture particularly in a humid climate which is hard on wood. It is close enough to walk to the main activity of the Quarter... more

My husband and I have been to New Orleans several times in the past (pre-Katrina) and have always had good luck with the hotels in the Quarter. This hotel showed pictures of a "standard" double bed room that was large and very nice, and the reviews of it were very good. This was not the case, however, when we got... more

Great place in the lower Quarter - residential as opposed to Boubon St. stupid. Great staff & ambiance. Fun & funky, walking distance to great restaurants & bars as well as Frenchman Street. Clean, comfortable & quiet. It's a series of old cottages cobbled together making for a real NO experience. more

Since we had never been to NOLA before, we went to trip advisor to get an idea of where we should stay. We chose the St. Pierre because of the location. It turned out to be the perfect place for us. It is a family type motel, run by extremely friendly people. The breakfast was pastries and cereal, which was... more

We really should have complained about the room. Our bed made my back sore and I normally have no issues with my back because I routinely lift weights. The headboard was dangling off the wall by a couple screws. The floor was uneven and covered in a nasty green commercial carpeting. The air conditioning didn't really take the humidity out... more

Excellent location, beautiful rooms especially the ones above the swimming pool, breakfast included, and staff very helpful! The neighborhood is very quiet (which is appreciated at night,!!) but still very close to restaurants and bars! If you are looking for a nice little place, cosy and charming, and you want to really feel the atmosphere of New Orleans, this is... more
