Bienville hotel is really sophiscated hotel and it´s location is perfect very near by the French Quarter of New Orleans. The room rate is very fare compared to quality and becaude of the location it is even better!! We really felt like queens and kings to stay there at the "old French standard". I warmly recomend this hotel to every... more

Our babysitter came down with the Swine Flu, and was diagnosed the day we were to go to New Orleans. The nice lady on the phone told me that they would not cancel the reservation even though we were dealing with the swine flu. Not a good feeling for the hotel at all. more

I stayed at this property in March, 2008, and felt it was so/so. The location is great but the service and room were just OK. This year my wife and I decided to celebrate Halloween in New Orleans and selected this property as a default location. We could not have been happier with our choice. Cynthia at the front desk... more

I travel all over the country on business and spend anywhere from six to seven months (total days) in hotels and this was one of the most disappointing stays I’ve ever had. The air conditioners in both of our rooms didn’t seem to work at all. I spoke to the young lady at the front desk, in person, about this... more

We stayed at the Bienville House Hotel with friends at the beginning of October. We found it to be a lovely boutique hotel. Our room had a king size four poster bed. Quite honestly the bed could use a new mattress but we were so busy during the day we were exhausted at night and slept just fine. The staff... more

We stayed at Bienville House over Labor Day weekend. It is in a great location and is a beautiful historic hotel. The rooms are not too large, but are charming and well maintained. more

Had stayed at the Bienville House in the past and found it very good. This time we stayed for 5 days and had our share of disappointments. Since it was a special anniversary trip we booked a room on the sundeck level. When we were showed our room we were stunned. It stunk of a musty odor, had mildew on... more

Stayed at the Bienville House for two nights Aug. 17-19. We had a beautiful room (377) with a double balcony overlooking the street, lovely french doors leading to the balcony, charming new orleans room, even a small chandelier over the beds! Room was clean and very LARGE. could really spread out. Bathroom clean and servicable. Location was excellent, in the... more

I've visited NO many times over the last 15 years. This was my fourth visit to NO post Katrina. I usually stay at one of the local hotels instead of the chains. The rate for the hotel was not lower than other similarly rated hotels, but decided to try out Bienville House based on the location. Let me start off... more

The hotel is beautiful. They have a nice saltwater swimming pool. It feels like you're swimming in a fountain. Comfy beds. If you love a big LCD TV, stay somewhere else. Continental breakfast consists of bagels, toast, juice, and coffee. Located in the extreme western part of the French Quarter. Expect to pay $20 to $30 for parking. The front... more
