We were welcomed by the manager Ralph, who went out of his way to makes us welcome. He also assisted us in planning our next day adventure to the Quarters. The room was unbelieveable. The decor was fabulous and it was very clean. The only issue we had was the airconditioner wasn't blowing cold air. I understand that the managment... more

I recently came to New Orleans for a wedding that booked out the hotel for 3 nights and Nobody could have been happier with this hotel experience. The hotel is a quaint small hotel with beautiful restored wooden staircases and the most idyllic pool area with fountains. Despite being on the highly trafficked Rampart Street, all you heard in the... more

I booked the hotel on BookIt.com when we arrived were we supposed to have a free drink awaiting us from the bar. Well there isn't a bar anymore so we didn't get a drink at all. We were then told the number of the room we were goin to stay in. When we got to the room the phone was... more

First let me say that the hospitality of the front desk ladies was FABULOUS. They were honest and accommodating and tried their best to make us comfortable. So kudos to Ms. T and the ladies at the FQCH. Now here's the lowdown: We were given a tour of all the available rooms so we could choose which one we'd like... more

This hotel needs a lot of work. While the desk people were very nice, our room was dirty. The blankets had cigarette-burned holes all over them, not to mention that the sink and towel caddy in the bathroom were so rusty that they would leave orange marks on anything you left on them. Hairs in the tub.. Our television's remote... more

Booked via United Airlines website on Airline Net work .co.UK on Jan 10 2008. With reference to my phone call about my stay at French Quarter Courtyard in New Orleans booked and prepaid via yourselves on Jan30 from the United Airlines web site. I am demanding all my money refunded for the following reasons. The hotel looks and sounds like... more

When I arrived they gave me a room and it was completely dirty, there were a lot of hairs in all the bathroom and in the sheet too. I went to the front door and I asked them to change me for the other room immediately. They changed me but the problems were the same. When you arrive you must... more

First off the front desk was a little unorganized but the place was the perfect price for traveling on a budget. Not to mention inexpensive parking which is key in new orleans! Parking was also very guarded so you dont have to worry about your vehicle getting broken into. The hotel itself was gorgeous! The rooms were classic new orleans... more

We booked two rooms at this hotel for a Saturday night. Upon arrival my wife was asked to pay $13.90 fee for “amenities”. We had already for the hotel in full through Expedia. I asked the attendant what the charge was for and she broke it down to a mandatory Breakfast, Phone, and Wireless Internet fee. I explained to her... more

I previously stayed at this property in 2005, and what I found when I came back two years later was an absolute and utter disappointment. The hotel itself is lovely, the pool being its best feature, and the staff are still mostly very nice, but it is clear that the current management is very poorly running this establishment. The cleanliness... more
