Whole small room looked run down. Old cheap looking furniture. Beds were nothing to brag about, old brown colored spreads, regular cheap pillows, carpeting was old. Problems started at check-in. Front-desk employee did not smile once during the whole process: no welcome, nothing... Turned out my room was in front of the elevator (a beeping elevator ...). No wheelchair ramp from the front entrance - amazing in this day and age! Had to carry the baby carriage up and down the stairs 2-4 times every day. Room was ok but bath very uncomfortable - disappointing for a hotel of this class. Good idea to have a green option (no room housekeeping) to save laundry and bedsheets etc.... more

Cons: Stain on the carpet, filthy light switch, shower curtain smells like bacteria, $10 charge to use the fitness center, bad wifi signal, bad concierge recommendation for lunch, all this for over $200 per night + $10 for internet Pros: No bad smell in the room itself, and the Sheraton is actually one of the better hotels in New Orleans... more
