The Montleone was an excellent choice since it was near the place where my business meeting took place and was also near the French Quarter and other New Orleans attractions. The price was very affordable, and the service of the staff was outstanding. The only minor complaints are no free internet and small rooms. The small rooms are to be... more

I went with my husband and 20 year old daughter for a semi business pleasure trip. From the moment we stepped into the lobby we knew we had picked a good one. The front desk let us check in early and fortunately they had a room ready for us despite our change in room accomodations (going from 2 to 3... more

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 4 nights. My extended family also stayed here as my cousin was having her wedding reception here as well. We had a rate of $129 per night for a standard King room. All in all, we were very happy here. The room is small, as we knew from reading reviews. We understood this... more

We chose the Hotel Monteleone for a recent trip based on a friend’s suggestion, and we were not disappointed. We had never been to New Orleans, and the hotel was one of the most pleasant, memorable aspects of our trip. We arrived an hour early, and our room was ready, so we were able to check in. The desk clerk,... more

I just stayed at the Monteleone for 4 nights. I had booked a regular King room, but upon reading about some very small rooms on TripAdvisor, I called the hotel and they kindly upgraded me to a Preferred King with a river view upon check-in. Even this room wasn't large by any means, but it was very pleasant and more... more

I stayed recently in Monteleone. Is there something good at the hotel yes. The location is actually really good. In the very French Quarter, you are practicly one block away from the Bourban street. But the hotel, the stuff and the atmosphere is really really bad. It feels like a cheap 1* hostel. Although shiny from the outside! The rooms... more

The location of the Monteleone is excellent! My husband and I enjoyed walking down Royal Street. So many interesting shops!! The hotel was really first class. We reserved the least expensive room and paid $129 a night. It was adequate and very clean and classy. Our view was looking toward Bourbon Street. It was very quiet at night and we... more

Beautiful hotel. Service was exceptional from the check in until I got in a cab back to the airport. The carousel bar was very cool. Enjoyed the hotel so much I wish my wife would have come with me on the business trip but she couldn't make it. Booked through Expedia and was given two free drinks in the bar... more

My husband, son and I spent a long weekend at the Monteleone. The location is perfect and we walked everywhere except to the World War II museum. We could have walked there if the weather had been cooler. The lobby is stunningly beautiful. The staff on the reservation desk and the doormen were very helpful. For a large hotel, the... more

Grand hotel with probably the best position for the French Quarter. Rooms comfortable and clean with choose-your-own combination safes. Breakfast fairly expensive but very very good. Luxurious roof-top pool. Staff were extremely helpful when we had trouble (with airline) with on-line check-in for return flight. Would (and in fact will) definitely return. more
