This hotel is very well located; two blocks from the French quarter. Rooms are modern, clean and wonderful! There is even hard wood floors in some parts of some of the rooms! Nice hotel is a good location. Summer, the front desk clerk was extremely nice and helpful. Close to everything, within easy walking distance to Bourbon St, Harrah's, Canal St, etc... We stayed one night in Feb 2012 before our cruise. While we were at dinner someone robbed our room and shuffled thru all our suitcases. Police and management were called. Management said our door had not be closed all the way. Now I see on here someone else was robbed at the same hotel. I think they have a problem.... More

Clean, quiet, comfortable hotel. Location pretty good if you don't mind walking a bit to French Quarter. Thermostat only goes down to 65 and I don't believe it really got there. Room was a little warm for sleeping. More

I came to New Orleans for a weather conference and spent a week at the hotel. It was located close to all the activities and unless you have trouble walking there is no reason to rent a care. I stayed in the La Quinta June of 2009 and found it to be well cared for and the people to be friendly so I booked another, longer stay in November 2011. The room was dirty and the more I complained to the front desk (who was very nice, by the way) the less that was done in the room.... More
