We stayed here for four nights. The rooms, while on the small side, had everything you may need. Good shower, air conditioning, which we did not need, television, fridge, microwave. The bed was comfortable and a sofa in the cabin. It's not luxury and was slightly over priced. The location is magnificent. The cafe down the road was adequate.

My husband and I stayed at a cabin in the Legion Lake campground. It was not very nice, old bed spreads, sheets, etc. Plus, the water was yellow and stunk like metal or iron! I couldn't even brush my teeth! It was WAY overpriced also. Plus, the service was not very friendly and a bit absent-minded. Live and learn!

Ate here twice. Food was pretty decent, but it'll take you 15 minutes to get that second cup of coffee. Service is so slow. The food was excellent, however it was cold. We had to share a large table with another couple, but there was still plenty of room. We stopped at this restaurant just about every morning for Starbucks. The coffee at the State Game Lodge was terrible.
