My family (2 adults & 2 young kids) booked two nights in a one-room cabin at Blue Bell in late August. The Good: The cabin is a nice well-decorated place right n the heart of the park. Wildlife right outside our door. General store with Caribou coffee and laundry facilities. A quick drive to all the scenic roads and hiking... more

We booked a single bed cabin with kitchenette and bathroom but due to a malfunction in the heating system, they upgraded us to a much fancier 2 bed cabin with front porch and fireplace. The accommodations were charming and comfortable. Each night there was fresh wood for our fireplace and all the equipment worked properly. Each day, there was some... more

Stayed in 1 room sleeping cabin. Had microwave, refrigerator, stove in kitchenette. Very clean and new looking. Satellite TV and Wifi. Poor cell phone reception. Beds were very comfortable. Cabins were closer together than Legion Lake Lodge and less private. more

We stayed in one of the older, historic cabins at Blue Bell Lodge. It was comfortable and had been updated fairly recently, but was still a bit rustic around the edges. There were also newer looking cabins, so if you want more modern amenities and a larger bathroom, you might ask for one. Our cabin was roomy, had a mini-kitchen... more

We stayed here for just 1 night...but wished we had made it more. Deer were nearby in the morning. Very quiet and a lot of space between the cabins. The bathrooms and decorating was nice as well with plenty of space for the 4 of us. more

Blue Bell Resort's motto is "as comfortable as an old boot" and it truly is. In all our travels this resort is our favorite. We have camped here as well as stayed in their cozy, quaint little rustic cabins. We love the serene atmosphere and surrounding beauty. We always know we will experience wildlife in the campground or right out... more

I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Our family of 6 had a housekeeping cabin with two double beds and a set of bunk beds. Had a full bath, ac, satellite tv, picnic table, fire grate. It was a beautiful location and I'm so glad we were there. I saw many of the places I checked out when looking... more

I absolutely loved everything about the Blue Bell Lodge & Resort! We stayed one night and then decided to book a 2nd night because we enjoyed it so much! It's in a great location in the middle of the incredible Black Hills, and there was so much to do! The restaurant at the Lodge served delicious meals both days, and... more

Our cabin in the woods was fun. We enjoyed our 3 nights in the cabin. It was big and had everything we needed. We went to the store and I appreciated the coffee pot and sat outside every am and enjoyed the fresh air and the beautiful trees and rabbits.....Our cabin had air conditioning which never seemed to turn off.... more
