Good basic accommodation. Rooms very clean and typically Austrian. Views excellent if your room faces the village. The furniture is rather tired and depicts another era, however we had no complaints and the staff were very friendly and helpful at all times. Stayed at this hotel as part of a two week break booked through Ingham's. Transfer from Salzburg is about one hour. I would really struggle to find anything to criticize about this hotel. Really enjoyed our visit to The Alpenkrone and Filzmoos. The food and service in the hotel were excellent. Our only gripe was the €20 charge for 20 minutes use of the whirlpool, which we refused to pay! Fantastic views, excellent service, warm hospitality and lovely facilities including a swimming pool and modern spa facility. Who could ask for more! The village of Filzmoos is lovely, situated in a superb, peaceful walking area. more
