My wife and I stayed at Plains B & B in July, 2005. Jill and her staff were all so great. We ended up staying an extra night. Very relaxing. As we sat on the giant porch, townspeople would drive by and wave as if we'd lived in Plains all our lives. We had dinner Saturday evening seated at the table next to former President and Mrs. Carter, attended President Carter's Sunday school lesson and had Plains B & B as our home base. We stayed in the "Conception Room" where Miss Lillian and the President's father stayed about the time the President was conceived. The room was quite comfortable. You felt at home. Billy Carter's daughter, Kim came over one evening and visited with us. And what a cook "Frenchie" is. It was a very pleasurable experience.
