We spent a week at Sporthotel Kaprun on half board basis and found it excellent value. The rooms are basic but have everything you need including good views. The buffet meals were good with a selection to suit all tastes - the hotel was about three quarters full and there was no waiting or queuing for food.The staff were friendly... more

This hotel is primarily a ski hotel. It is close to a bus stop, on the outskirts of Kaprun. The bus stop is close to the hotel, and there are 3 fields that are easily accessible. It is possilbe to ski to the hotel - however I don't think this was a marked or groomed trail, and would have been... more
