Stayed here for a week with Ingrams via Secret Escapes. Dated but clean hotel, public areas have seats lined up to watch sports on TV... ! Food is beyond bland although plentiful. Third stay with Roscher Family in Mayrhofen (previously Strass Garni and Landhaus Roscher). Superb hotel in excellent location. Excellent choice for skiing, next door to the Gondola so no long walking! This hotel is split into 3 sections so if you can get a room in the main building do, either way all 3 buildings are connected by bridges. the Sporthotel Strass is an excellent hotel with very friendly staff. its best feature is definitely the wellness area. one of the best sauna and massage facilities I've ever experienced and i travel all over the world. its situated right beside the main gondola so it couldn't be in a better place for heading up the mountain
