Took a late Thomson booking for a skiing trip. The single room was very compact (with toilet, washbasin and shower squeezed into a room little bigger than a wardrobe), but it was very clean, tidy and comfortable. Just got back from skiing and had a fantastic holiday. The snow and skiing was amazing with so many slopes to choose from. The hotel was great. About 8 minutes walk from the Gondola. For £15 you can keep your skis and boots here, money well spent to have heated boots on a cold day. We had a superior room... more

We stayed for a week at the Kramerwirt while on a Thomson Ski package holiday so had dinner and breakfast there each night. It's a very nice, traditional hotel with great service, good food and comfortable warm rooms. The breakfast was extensive and covered most tastes - it all tasted fresh and delicious. The Kramerwirt Hotel is an excellent hotel situated in a perfect location in Mayrhofen. The rooms are huge and spotless and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. This was the first time we stayed at the Kramerwirt, though we had eaten there when staying in a nearby Pension. Good stuff first: Food was lovely and waiting staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. As was the lady in the wellness centre, which was well kitted out (although you had to pay extra which is unusual in 4* hotels in Ireland). We stayed in the kramerwirt mainly due to the fact it came across as a traditional hotel. Although at the bottom end of mayrhofen the location was pretty much spot on as i think if you were towards the centre you may be bothered with noise.
