We spent a week here for a ski-ing holiday. Ski conditions were perfect which meant we could practically ski to and from the hotel.The hotel is lovely - very Austrian in that it combines great comfort with practicality. The views are picture perfect of the mountains and ski slopes. Our room looked out over the slopes. We booked a family room for the two of us - in fact that was all that we could book through our travel agent - and it was very spacious. The hotel is up a fairly steep slope but if you're walking without ski gear and are mobile, it won't pose you any problems. We enjoyed it. If you take one of the ski routes where you end up back in town rather than at the hotel, it's a ten euro taxi fare. The ski hire place recommended by the hotel will drop off and collect your skis, so in my opinion the hill is a small price to pay for the views.
