Marvellous accomodation, with the best view in Alpbach. We have visited Alpbach every year for the last 6 - last year skiing in February and a walking holiday in the summer, and the accomodation at the Bergwald is as good, if not better than the 4 star hotels in the village centre. Katharina is one of the most welcoming hostesses I have ever encountered. The breakfast was fresh and plentiful. The room and facilities were extremely clean. 29 euro per night b&b.....and a view to die for.....rooms 4 star....service 5 star.....this is only a family run guest house.but you are made to feel very wellcome...If you require a beer or wine you help yourself from the cellar and you are trusted to pay at the end of your stay....This is typical of the tirol village people who... more
