The only good thing about this "hotel" is the location, very close to the ski slope. Old building , cheap food, cold rooms at the top floors and rude manager. So....look for other choice. more

An old cheap hotel that should be refurbished 15 years ago. There is no atmosphere there and absolutly nothing to do. Everything is cheap there, even the food is cheap. Smelly wall to wall carpets all over the place. TV sets are 25 years old and the size of 14 inches.Everything is cheap there. more

Room: Our family stayed at the Hotel Schieferle for one week in March 2008 for a ski holiday. We had booked a family suite and discovered our room was in the older of the two buildings. My daughter loved her room within the suite; it had wooden beams and paneling, and a stained glassed door. She had a private deck.... more

We went for a 4-day ski break and I have no hesitation recommending the Sporthotel to anyone. It was great. The rooms are cozy, the staff friendly, the food excellent and the Schieferle family make a real effort to ensure that everyone is looked after. We have just come back from a 12 night stay at Sporthotel Schieferle in Mutters and could find no fault with it. Our large room was very clean and had a wonderful view from the balcony, to the mountains beyond Innsbruck. Meals were wonderful and my wife being vegitarian also, had an excellent meal each evening.
