Had a fantastic week there for skiing very nice room, hotel family run very personal friendly service, fantastic and plenty food. Room was good in size, clean, good temperature, nice view out of the windows on the mountains. The hotel is very close to the piste and ski school meeting point (1 min walk). more

This is the best hotel in Obergurgl for so many reasons. Most friendly owner managed 4 star hotel in Obergurgl - great services, rooms and wonderful location just 150 meters to the ski slopes and 300 meters to the ski kindergarten. We have stayed in several hotels in Obergurgl but the Gamper is by far the best. The rooms are great, the food is superb, the staff are friendly, efficient and nothing is too much trouble for them. I couldn't recommend the hotel Gamper highly enough. I stayed there for a week with my wife and three kids (10, 9, 6) and the experience was pretty-near flawless.
