Booked this as part of a ski package holiday with one of the large tour operators as it made the travel arrangements easier. Having been on many ski holidays over the years, this hotel was a gem. The Olympia Hotel has 26 rooms and is located just above the centre of Obergurgl, maybe a five minute walk (though uphill on the way back!) Since 2004 we have stayed at Hotel Olympia five times and we enjoy it even more every visit. Each time we have been warmly welcomed by the hotel's owners, Family Koll, and their staff . The Olympia is a small family run hotel with 26 rooms. We had a junior suite with lounge, sofa, kingsized bed, TV and plenty of storage space. The bathroom and toilet were separate. There was a lengthy balcony with good views, but poor furniture. The hotel is family run`, but beware the frau, as she can seem a bit abrupt... more

We had a lovely time in this very clean and efficiently run hotel. Demand for hotels in Obergurgl during the summer seems low so we were able to get free room upgrades to junior suites which were spacious, well furnished and had beautiful views down the valley.
