This is our first stay at the Swarzer Adler after it was recommended by a friend. We stayed in a room away from the bar area which was spacious and quiet. The bar area was frequented by lots of smokers which made the area unpleasent to sit in when you have become acustom to smoke free areas in England's hotels.... more

The beauty of this hotel is that it ticks all the right boxes for a good ski hotel, it is close the the ski lifts, it has a ski and boot room, pool, sauna and steam room and it has a real fire and cosy atmosphere. However it is the other small details that put this hotel a notch higher... more

We had two adjacent rooms for a week's ski holiday. The rooms were lovely and spacious. Sat. night was a bit loud as we faced the street, but with closed windows, no problem.
