3 of us stayed at this chalet at the beginning of March. On arrival we were met by the chalet staff who helped us arrange skis and passes so we were skiing by lunchtime.

The chalet is situated right in the middle of the high street so all the main bars are within 100 yards.

The room we had (the suite on the top floor) was clean and very well kitted out (including sky sports for the cricket).

The food was excellent, a different cooked breakfast every morning, wholesome dinner and apparently very tasty cake in the afternoon (we didn't actually make it back to the chalet in time to partake of this as we were a little too indulgent in the apres ski).

The atmosphere was cosmopolitan and friendly. On our stay the other guests were English and Swedish. The chalet staff could not have been more helpful, recommending lunch stops and nightclubs to attend.

I also needed to see a doctor during our stay and the hotel staff helped to sort one out who spoke perfect English.

The hotel was only a third full when we were there (a surprise at half term) so there was...
