Had some friends stay there for Thanksgiving. Terribly experience! A late check-in (8:30) found us standing outside and conducting the transaction through a hole in a window (it is not a bad part of town). The next morning they were horrified at their night. I stayed in this hotel for two nights over the San Francisco Airshow weekend. We rented two rooms. The cleanliness in one room was only just adequate, and it was below standard in another. The Royal Motel on Alhambra in Martinez is a low cost clean motel, that is quite like a Motel 6, except that this motel has a refridgerator, microwave, and hair dryer in the rooms.
