We found these appartments easily and it was after the 17.00 closing time but having made contact beforehand the key was left in the door for us. On arrival we did meet several people in this half residential/rented park, there are three blocks of three storey buildings 50m apart plenty of parking, lawns and childrens play area - well equipped kitchens although they do look as if they have undergone some refurbishments, 4 ring hob and microwave, fridge. Sheets and towels were supplied which was a nice surprise.

In the village of Kelmis we went into a bar and after one hour and the refusal of several drinks we left with many friends and handshaking all round - very friendly warm people. The surrounding area is very pretty, meadows and trees, just up the road is Aachen, to the left is Vaals. The appartments are very clean and the staff very helpful with tourist info in your language - a fantastic weekend in a beautiful location. We will be returning.
