This motel is very ordinary. The rooms are old and the decor is very outdated, dingey and unclean. The walls are paper thin and the traffic noise awful. The Harmony is not the typical motel/hotel that I generally stay in when traveling and I was a bit skeptic when we arrived to check in. However, Ash was very pleasant upon our arrival and showed us around and personally took us to our rooms. The views were excellent and the room were quite spacious. more

I loved this motel. It has six rooms, all with a patio where you can enjoy a drink or a meal. There is a pool and hot tub and lovely views over the dessert. We stayed one night on our way to Joshua Tree National Park. The hotel was fine, convenient to the park. The hotel was pretty well maintained, but definitely dated. The bathroom in particular was very small. They did have a hot tub, which was nice and internet access. A decent value if you don't mind an older roadside motel. more

We were at the Harmony Motel only for 1 night, but we loved it. It is somehow special, not like the chain hotels, that - more or less - all look the same. It was so wonderful to sit and relax in the evening - on our own terrace with view to the nice little "cactus garden" and the pool.... more

The Harmony Motel doesn't look like much from the Twentynine Palms Highway, but - especially at night - the twinkly back garden is magical. With a hot tub and a pool open late for some stargazing, and all the rooms facing east for amazing sunrises, there's just something really special about this place.
