I've stayed in a lot of budget hotels in Hawaii. This one has the best rooms, best bed, best landscaping of all of them. It's very conveniently located, has free parking and a hot tub. Will stay here any time I am in Kona. Goodbye Kona Seaside, hello Kona Islander. more

You get a good value what you pay for: rooms which are clean but have left their best times behind them. The rooms were clean (we stayed there twice), staff was friendly and helpful and you can explore Kona by foot from there. However, for the next good beach and a decent grocery store, you need a car. more
